The Cubana Resport Nambucca Heads is a newly refurbished retro-style hotel set amongst 5 acres of beautifully manicured gardens and lily pond with picturesque footbridge. Located halfway between Sydney and Brisbane, and just a 30 minute drive from Coffs Harbour airport, The Cubana offers a convienient destination for all your wedding guests to celebrate for your special day, or the whole weekend. The entire resort can be hired exclusively for your friends and family to gather together, stay together, play together and to get to know each other pre and post wedding.
Ceremonies can be help on-site with tropical gardens, or off-site at many of Nambucca’s areas of natural beauty from rainforest to beach.
THE CEREMONY & RECEPTION
The Cubana Resort is set amongst a beautifully landscaped tropical garden and lily pond with picturesque water feature and white timber bridge providing the perfect backdrop for a garden wedding. A flat grass area allows easy setup for guest seating and there is an abundance of photo opportunities around the 5 acres of gardens, or a pop of colour in front of your favourite room.
In case of inclement weather, our separate bar area can be sectioned off and decorated with wedding curtains, an arbour and your own personal touches. The Cubana Resort provides newlyweds with the options of a relaxed outdoor garden space, or our stylish restaurant overlooking the garden and pond, or a combination of the two
BEAUTIFUL SPACES
Welcome drinks, canapes or a grazing table can be set up in the garden area by the pond. Guests can relax and enjoy the afternoon sunset under the shade of the jacaranda tree.
Bathed in natural light, the restaurant has large doors opening onto a festoon lit deck overlooking the pond. A separate bar area can be used for a dance floor, DJ, band or lounge area.
